PROJECT SUMMARY

The Fukushima Poster series is a series of four illustrated posters reflective of the 2011 Fukushima-Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant Disaster. Meant to educate, the posters call back to the event in chronological order, from the forerunner to the aftermath. Inspired by Japanese Ukiyo-E printmaking techniques, the illustrative style pays homage to earlier periods of Japanese art.
