PROJECT SUMMARY

Jazz Fest is a rebranding of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Music Festival. These original illustrations were previously intended for a deck of playing cards, but have since been the main focus of this rebranding. The colorful illustrations represent individual genres of jazz. The 'ZZ' motif occurs throughout on every repeated letter, and acts as the main branding component. The 'ZZ' represents the energy and buzzing associated with jazz. The project started from a set of playing cards based around the history and evolution of jazz.
